I was sceptical that a detergent could hold a scent past the dryer. I pulled a towel out of the cupboard on Thursday that I'd washed on Sunday and it still smelled like the day it came off the line. That's the whole product, really. I've since ordered the duo in a second scent for the guest room.
I bought the wash on its own first and thought it was nice but subtle. Then I added the softener and it completely changed — that's where the fragrance actually lives. Buy the duo, don't make my mistake. The wash on its own is a good detergent; the pair is what you're actually here for.
Getting into a freshly made bed is genuinely the best part of my week now. It's warm and expensive-smelling without being sweet or overpowering, and it hasn't irritated my skin once — which matters, because most fragranced detergents leave me itchy.

Base notes are still detectable on stored fabric days after washing, and a stack of towels will hold scent for weeks in a closed cupboard. Longevity depends on the fabric, how it's dried, and how it's stored — natural fibres hold fragrance better than synthetics, and line-dried washing holds it better than tumble-dried.
The wash is deliberately restrained. It cleans and leaves a light, clean scent, but it's rinsed out by design — that's what a detergent does. The softener is the fragrance step: it stays on the fibre instead of going down the drain. If you're buying for scent, buy the duo. If you only want a better detergent, the wash on its own is fine.
Our formulas are enzyme-free, and free from dyes, phosphates, bleaches, parabens and optical brighteners — all common irritants. But these are fragranced products, and fragrance contains potential allergens, which we declare per scent. Patch test before regular use, and stop if you see irritation. If you react to fragrance generally, this range isn't the right fit.
Yes — front loaders, top loaders and high-efficiency machines. The wash is low-suds, so it won't over-foam in an HE drum, and the softener is intentionally water-light so it flows out of the dispenser drawer instead of sitting in it.
The detergent comes in a 948ml tin and the softener in a 750ml tin. Use the dose recommended on each product; the number of washes depends on your load size.
The formulas are free from phosphates, bleaches and optical brighteners, but they carry a high fragrance load, which some septic and eco sewage systems don't love. If you're on a sensitive system, check with your provider before switching.
